Annual Symposium

MHQA holds an annual symposium each fall centering on our mission to help foster healthy populations through innovative research, education and practice. Participants can expect interactive breakouts, unique simulations and a variety of other activities.

Comments from previous symposiums included:

“Hearing patient stories always grounds me, and are a reminder to provide the safest, highest quality care that I can.”
“Simulation can be useful with outpatient care.”
"Linda Kenney’s presentation has shown me how to approach a provider who has been involved in a bad outcome in a different and more effective manner.”
"The simulation experience was excellent! Having physicians and nurses and other team members collaborate ‘on the scene’ was a tremendous asset.”
“Thanks for making this available to those of us involved in patient care who are not part of the medical team. Great conference! While I'm not medically trained I found it easy to follow and understood the presentations.”
"Loved the Teams in Sim Labs- we all learned something from each other. It was very eye-opening trying to make a diagnosis based on patient interview alone. Ancillary departments and front-line employees would benefit from this conference.”
